Shades of Blue Lifestyles is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor with 135% procurement recognition. For every R100 you spend with us, R135 is recognised towards the preferential procurement element of your B-BBEE scorecard.
What it means for your scorecard
Under the Codes of Good Practice, the preferential procurement element rewards spend with suppliers according to their B-BBEE level. A Level 1 supplier earns the highest recognition, 135%.
Because the company is 100% black woman-owned, spend with us also counts towards the scorecard targets for procurement from black women-owned suppliers — one of the harder targets for most measured entities to meet.

Each rand spent with a Level 1 supplier is recognised as R1.35 of B-BBEE procurement spend on your scorecard.
Does it matter where the work is done?
No. Recognition follows the supplier's B-BBEE level, not the location of the site.
How do we verify your status?
Ask the sales desk for the current sworn affidavit. You can also confirm the company registration on the CIPC register using registration number 2013/185990/07.
