Building repairs and maintenance in Springs and Gauteng

One maintenance contractor for painting, paving, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, ceilings and drywall partitioning — on a once-off quote or a planned maintenance package.

Shades of Blue repairs and maintains offices, retail shops, medical rooms and municipal buildings: painting, paving, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, ceilings and drywall partitioning, once-off or on a maintenance package.

Facilities work, done by one accountable contractor

Our speciality is repairing and maintaining offices, retail shops, medical consulting rooms and municipal buildings. We also take on private homes and complexes.

One call covers several trades. A water leak that stained a ceiling needs a plumber, a ceiling board, a painter and sometimes a tiler. We send one team, one quote and one invoice.

Planned maintenance packages

For buildings that need regular attention we agree a maintenance package: scheduled check-ups and minor repairs at an agreed monthly rate, with larger work quoted separately. It keeps a building in shape without a procurement cycle for every broken hinge.

How it works

  1. Site inspection

An inspector visits, takes photographs and video of each problem and discusses the fix with you.

  2. Written quote

An itemised quote backed by the photographs, so you can approve line by line.

  3. The work

A uniformed team arrives with materials and tools; the team manager checks progress regularly.

  4. Handover

After-photographs, a joint inspection and sign-off. Nothing is left unfinished.

Questions we get asked

Do you charge for a quote?

No. We inspect the site, photograph the problems and send a written quote at no charge.

How do payments work?

For private and smaller jobs we ask for a 50% deposit on acceptance and the balance on completion and sign-off. For corporate and government clients we work to your purchase-order and payment terms.

Do you do insurance repair work?

Yes. We repair damage covered by building and home-owners insurance and supply the quotes and photographs your insurer asks for.
